Happy summer break!
Our office has now closed for the summer break! Our final newsletter for the 2023/2024 school year was emailed out last week. We encourage our families to read through for important school related information when you have a chance during the summer break.
We will re-open for new registrations on Tuesday, August 27th at 830am. Please see below for important start up dates. Should you need to get hold of our office, please email us at SAW@sd83.bc.ca Please allow several business days for replies.
Monday Aug. 26th – School office opens (please call ahead for an appointment time)
Tuesday Aug. 27th – Registration day for new students. If you are new to the Salmon Arm West catchment (please use the school finder tool located on our sd83 webpage), please bring the following in order to register for our waitlist
-Copy of birth certificate
-Copy of Health Care card
-Proof of address
Wednesday Sept. 4th – Welcome back to Grade 1-5 students (8:17 am – 11:17am ) *note early dismissal – busses will run for pickup and drop off*
Thursday Sept. 5th -Kindie Gradual Entry Groups start partial days (new k families – please check your emails for the schedule or see below). Grade 1-5 students begin full days in their last year’s classroom, until we are able to confirm divisions and class placements.
Monday Sept. 9th – All students in their new classrooms. Kindergarten gradual entry continues for this week.
